Patient Participation Group

The Esher Green Patient Participation Group is now established and will hold regular meetings to discuss matters that are important to you, our patients.

The PPG is a group of patients registered with the surgery who have an interest in the services provided. The aim of the PPG is to represent patients' views and cross barriers, embracing diversity and to work in partnership with the surgery to  improve common understanding.

We are looking for more patients to join the group and the Chairman would be very happy to speak to you to provide you with more information. So, if you are interested and would like to know more, please speak to the receptionist who will pass your details onto the Practice manager or PPG Chairman will be in contact with you

Free NHS Health Checks

Helping you to prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease & dementia.

We are now doing Health Checks at Esher Green Surgery for patients between the ages of 40-74 who have NOT been diagnosed with the conditions mentioned above.

Baby/ Child Surveillance Clinic   baby_with_sethescope

A child health clinic is held every Thursday afternoon by Dr Munnelly on an appointment only basis. Child development assessments at six to eight weeks and seven to nine months are performed at the clinic. An appointment only child health clinic is run by health visitors every Wednesday (09:30 – 11:30) at Emberbrook Health Centre. To make a booking please call 020 8979 6464.

Children’s Immunisations

Many potentially fatal childhood diseases have been virtually eradicated in the UK due to the availability of vaccination. It is very important that babies and children are fully immunised as per the recommended schedule:

Diabetes, Asthma And Lipid (Cholesterol) Clinics

These monitor the progress of our patients at regular intervals and are run by our doctors and practice nurses.

To remove skin 'lumps and bumps', ie Moles Skin tags Cysts etc. Please book an appointment with the receptionists

Family Planning

D Gupta runs the family planning service in the practice.

We provide a comprehensive service including the fitting of coils and implants. The Women’s Health clinic is held on a Tuesday afternoon every other week at Esher Green Surgery, however if you cannot make the appointment in that surgery time we will try our best to accommodate you.

The practice is able to use the service of Surrey And Borders for IAPT/Primary Care Physcological Therapy. Private counselling is also available.

Foreign travel  syringe

Our practice nurses Helen Allen and Caroline Cowling are very experienced in this field and are able to advise you about immunisations or special precautions that may be required for your destination. Please complete a travel form two months before travel if possible and leave it with reception. Allow 3 working days before calling the surgery to see what travel advice or appointments you may need. You can collect a travel form from reception or print one off to complete from the separate 'Travel Vaccinations' tab above.

We offer a wide range of travel vaccines including yellow fever (with Helen Allen) and rabies. Not all vaccines are available on the NHS and a charge will be made for some.
