Baby/ Child Surveillance Clinic
A child health clinic is held every Thursday afternoon by Dr Munnelly on an appointment only basis. Child development assessments at six to eight weeks and seven to nine months are performed at the clinic. An appointment only child health clinic is run by health visitors every Wednesday (09:30 – 11:30) at Emberbrook Health Centre. To make a booking please call 020 8979 6464.
Many potentially fatal childhood diseases have been virtually eradicated in the UK due to the availability of vaccination. It is very important that babies and children are fully immunised as per the recommended schedule:

These monitor the progress of our patients at regular intervals and are run by our doctors and practice nurses.
Minor Operations Clinic
To remove skin 'lumps and bumps', ie Moles Skin tags Cysts etc. Please book an appointment with the receptionists

D Billington runs the family planning service in the practice.
We provide a comprehensive service including the fitting of coils and implants. The Women’s Health clinic is held on a Tuesday afternoon every other week at Esher Green Surgery, however if you cannot make the appointment in that surgery time we will try our best to accommodate you.

The practice is able to use the service of Surrey And Borders for IAPT/Primary Care Physcological Therapy. Private counselling is also available.
Our practice nurse Helen Allen is very experienced in this field and is able to advise you about immunisations or special precautions that may be required for your destination. Please complete a travel form two months before travel if possible and leave it with reception. Allow 3 working days before calling the surgery to see what travel advice or appointments you may need. You can collect a travel form from reception or print one off to complete from the separate 'Travel Vaccinations' tab above.
We offer a wide range of travel vaccines including yellow fever and rabies. Not all vaccines are available on the NHS and a charge will be made for some. Please click on the Travel Vaccinations tab above to few the travel form and view prices.
Mental Health & Emotional Issues
The First Steps service is for anyone aged 18 years or above who is looking to take the first steps to improve mental well-being for themselves, their friends or family members. They are trained mental health advisors with backgrounds in a variety of professions & offer a range of self-help resources, educational sessions and signpost people to other relevant local services. The district nursing team are qualified nurses who are trained to assess the health care needs of patients who are unable to make it to the surgery and their families. They provide services such as post surgical care, wound and skin care, bowel and bladder care, diabetic care, and follow up care for people who are acutely or terminally ill.
To contact the district nurses call 0208 972 9412 between 08:30 and 16:30. If you call outside these hours please leave a message on their answer phone and someone will be in contact with you.
All blood tests are undertaken by our phlebotomists and healthcare assistants. All blood tests must be done before 12:00 as they are sent to the lab at lunch time.
Your midwife and doctor will share your antenatal care and help care for you and your baby. The midwife holds a clinic at Emberbrook Community Health Centre in Thames Ditton on Wednesday Mornings. Find their address below;

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to complete one of our travel forms in order for our nurses to have a look at to see what vaccinations you may need. Once you have given us your completed travel form please contact reception 3 days later. The receptionist will then make an appointment for you with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.
