Patient Participation Group

The Esher Green Patient Participation Group is now established and will hold regular meetings to discuss matters that are important to you, our patients.

The PPG is a group of patients registered with the surgery who have an interest in the services provided. The aim of the PPG is to represent patients' views and cross barriers, embracing diversity and to work in partnership with the surgery to  improve common understanding.

We are looking for more patients to join the group and the Chairman would be very happy to speak to you to provide you with more information. So, if you are interested and would like to know more, please speak to the receptionist who will pass your details onto the Practice manager or PPG Chairman will be in contact with you

Repeat Prescriptionsmulticolour_pills

Repeat prescriptions can be obtained by completing a slip on our front desk stating your full name, date of birth, address, and the name of your medication and posting it in the repeat prescription box on the front desk. You can also use the right-hand side of the computerised prescription form by simply ticking the medication you require.

If you include a stamped addressed envelope with your request we will return your completed prescription by post. Your prescription can also be sent to your local pharmacist for you to collect.

Alternatively, you can order online through this site. Click on the Online services link at the top of this page and complete the simple registration form.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed and to be available for collection from the surgery. If you have requested to pick it up from anywhere other than the surgery then you must allow time for the chemist to then process it and have it available for collection

 Please do not use the telephone to order repeat prescriptions.

 Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS)

We are now able to issue prescriptions to a pharmacy nominated by you, and most local pharmacies are now signed up to this service. Forms to apply are available in reception, and need to be taken to the pharmacy of your choice

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
